Mimi is a non-binary singer, songwriter and alt. rapper who was born and raised in Manchester, UK. (pronouns: she/they)
 

In 2022, Mimi was diagnosed with psychosis, which, due to the sensory elements that Mimi experienced, deepened their relationship with music. This spurred them on to make music of their own, detailing their experiences and trauma, hoping to reach others, build connections and create meaningful art in the process.

Mimi is known for being outspoken and ambitious, refusing to let anybody stand in their way and refusing to be silenced on matters they are passionate about, which is reflected in tracks such as 'Man Plz' and ‘FTG’.
